A Communications Officer charged with allegedly importing marijuana has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
52-year-old Deborah Singh has been ordered by Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa to surrender her passport and travel documents.
Singh was arrested on Monday at the Suva Post Office upon receiving a consignment from the United States allegedly containing two candles containing marijuana.
The contents of the parcel were tested and proved positive for illicit drugs.
She faces one count of unlawful possession of an illicit drugs and one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs.
