Damodar City Labasa to create new jobs in the North

Group exploring new investment opportunities

2023 is a major year for the people in the North especially those in Labasa as Damodar City Labasa is on track to generate more employment and giving Labasa a whole new look.

Today, Damodar Group of Companies signed a sale and purchase agreement with S Nagindas to open a large store at Damodar City Labasa which will be the first state of the art outlet for Vanua Levu.

Damodar Group of Companies CEO, Div Damodar says S Nagindas will buy the unit title of its shop in the $50 million Damodar City Labasa shopping centre.

Damodar adds that they are also working on different concepts and opportunities to invest in the economy including the launch of their first hotel project.

Meanwhile the first phase of Damodar City Labasa is scheduled to open at the end of this year while the second phase cinema wing which also houses the S Nagindas unit is currently under construction and is expected to be completed next year.
