Flying Fijians Coach Vern Cotter.

Flying Fijians Coach, Vern Cotter will be joining the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua before their Super Rugby Pacific match this Friday, and Cotter says that Drua flyhalf Teti Tela has been impressive and it is important that he is developed as the Flying Fijians only has one player at number 10 which is Ben Volavola.

Cotter who arrived into the country last week says he is going on Thursday to be able to spend some time with the team but he does not want to disrupt the team.

He says they will go through a full review process following Friday's match and he adds they wanted to leave four or five games at the start to see which way the Drua is headed.

The coach adds he has been in contact with the Drua coaching staff.

He says the team has got some good loose forwards like Vilive Miramira and he was also impressed with the backs like Vinaya Habosi and Joseva Tamani.

Cotter adds he needs to get some information based on games and players as they are picking a team for the June and July tests against Samoa and Tonga.

The Drua will meet the Rebels at 8.45pm Friday.

In other matches this weekend, the Moana Pasifika will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Friday, the Force take on the Brumbies at 11pm Friday, the Highlanders battle the Blues at 3.35pm Sunday, the Chiefs will face the Crusaders at 6.05pm Saturday while the Reds will face the Waratahs at 8.45pm Saturday.
