Flying Fijians coach, Vern Cotter says they will be looking at a mix of players to play for the upcoming test matches in June, July, October and November and most of the players will have to come from the Super Rugby Pacific or the Skipper Cup.

Cotter says Fiji could take on Samoa and Tonga in June and July, Japan in October, and Scotland, Ireland and the French Barbarians in November however, nothing has been finalised.

He says he will spend time with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and see what the best options are because that is where they will get access as he cannot really see much of the players in Europe.

He says they need locks to play at an international level and front rows that can stand for 80 minutes of the game.

Meanwhile the Drua will meet the Rebels at 8.45pm Friday.

In other matches this weekend, the Moana Pasifika will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Friday, the Force take on the Brumbies at 11pm Friday, the Highlanders battle the Blues at 3.35pm Sunday, the Chiefs will face the Crusaders at 6.05pm Saturday while the Reds will face the Waratahs at 8.45pm Saturday.

You can vote for your fijivillage fan player of the match on our website.

You can also purchase tickets for the Drua Highlanders match on 30th April at the ANZ Stadium from the Fiji Sports Council office located at the FMF Gymnasium, any of Post Fiji’s 58 Post Shops throughout Fiji, and the Fiji Rugby Union office at Gordon Street in Suva.
