Fiji Cancer Society’s clinical nurse, Karolina Tamani and stage 4 breast cancer survivor, Mele Koroi will appear on fijivillage Straight Talk With Vijay Narayan at 7pm tonight.
They will discuss issues relating to breast cancer cases in the country, the issues facing the patients and families, how are the survivors coping with the disease which is claiming many lives, the challenges being faced in the country, the Fiji Cancer Society’s major challenges, the need for early detection, the high number of cases coming late, people turning to herbal medicine, the treatment available for people detected with breast cancer and survivors encountering personal hurdles and struggles.
