Clash of two consistent Fijian wingers, Naholo and Reece tonight

It will be a clash of two Fijian wingers who have been consistent in the past three rounds of this year’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition when the defending champions Crusaders take on the Hurricanes tonight in Christchurch.

Sevu Reece has been named to start for the Crusaders on the right wing while Kiniviliame Naholo has been named to start on the left wing for the Hurricanes.

Reece put on an amazing show for the Crusaders last week against the Fijian Drua despite their 20-10 loss and also scored a brilliant 40-metre try that gave them an early lead in the first half of the game.

Naholo on the other hand put on a destructive performance for the Hurricanes in their 29-21 win over the Blues last week which included a try and setting up another after running through 5 defenders.

Both teams have named a number of players with links to Fiji in their match day 23 squads with the Crusaders naming George Bower to start and loosehead prop, Levi Aumua to start at centre, Reece on the wing and Chay Fihaki at fullback.

The Hurricanes will have Isaiah Walker-Leawere starting at locks, Naholo on the wing and Salesi Rayasi will cover the backline from the bench.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders will be staring down an unwanted history after they had a 0-3 start to this season, a worst start that they had for the first time since 1996.

The Crusaders will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05pm in Christchurch.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on the Chiefs at 6.30pm tomorrow in Hamilton.

In other matches this weekend, the Rebels will play the Reds at 8.35 tonight, Western Force will take on Moana Pasifika at 11 tonight, the Highlanders will host the Brumbies at 3.35pm tomorrow and the Waratahs will play the Blues at 8.35pm tomorrow.
