China to soon announce donation for schools rehabilitation in the North – Bo

China will soon announce a donation for the Education Ministry for the reconstruction of schools in the Northern Division that have been damaged by TC Yasa.

While speaking at the 4th anniversary of the China Cultural Centre in Fiji, the Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Qian Bo has expressed his sympathy to affected Fijians.

Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar says they will need to keep their hopes high and work together to bring about the much-needed changes with the resources available.

Akbar has thanked all the donors who hit the ground after TC Yasa to assist the affected people and contribute towards the rehabilitation works.

She says through the cultural centre they have been able to strengthen their cultural and educational exchanges and diplomatic relations between the two countries as well.
