The Chiefs have made three changes to their side for today's Super Rugby Aotearoa clash against the Blues as they search for their first win in the new competition.

Prop Reuben O'Neill moves from the bench to the starting side, replacing Aidan Ross, who picked up a calf injury in last weekend's defeat to the Highlanders.

TVNZ News reports the other two changes both occur on the bench, with young prop Ollie Norris stepping in for O'Neill, while Taranaki halfback Lisati Milo-Harris replaces Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi.

Elsewhere, 38-year-old Adam Thomson notches his 100th Super Rugby appearance, across stints with the Highlanders and now the Chiefs.

The Chiefs face the Blues at Eden Park at 3.35 this afternoon.

The Hurricanes have handed the Crusaders their first loss at home since 2016, coming away with a 34-32 win to keep the Super Rugby Aotearoa season well and truly alive.

It’s the Hurricanes fourth consecutive win while it’s the Crusaders first loss of the season.
