CMF College U17, Captain Ilai Nabati.

It will be an uphill battle for the CMF College U17 side as they will take on Marist Brothers High School in the semi final of the Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary School Rugby Competition tomorrow.

This is the third year CMF College has been participating in the secondary school rugby competition, and they will be aiming to reach the national finals.

Captain Ilai Nabati says it will be a tough game for them this week as they are facing one of the big giants in secondary school rugby.

He says they faced a lot of challenges throughout the season as they had their mid-term exams, which minimized their training time.

Nabati says the boys were shocked to hear that they will face Marist in the semi finals as they were expecting to meet Nabua Secondary School.

He adds they will bring their A-game tomorrow and hope to come out victorious.

CMF College will face Marist at 12.20pm tomorrow at Buckhurst Ground.

The second semi final will see Nabua Secondary School taking on Nasinu Secondary School at 12.20pm tomorrow at Suva Grammar Ground 1.

In the U18 semi finals, MGM High School will take on Suva Grammar School at 1.50pm, and Nasinu Secondary will face Marist Brothers at 3.20pm. Both matches will be played at Buckhurst Ground.

The Southern Zone competition will be held at Bidesi Ground, Buckhurst Ground, and Suva Grammar Ground.
