The 21-year-old bus driver who allegedly caused the death of a 23-year-old woman in Suva last Thursday along Stinson Parade in Suva has been released on bail.

Ronal Vikash Nair was produced in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoo.

Nair is charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death.

He has been released on strict bail conditions.

The Magistrate told Nair to report to the Nakasi Police Station beginning this Saturday, not to interfere with prosecution witnesses, and a stop-departure order has been issued against him.

Nair will take his plea on the 18th of December.
