An investigation into a brawl between students of a school in Nadi will be investigated by the Education Ministry and the students involved will be taken to task.

This has been made clear by Education Minister Rosy Akbar who says students displaying violence and engaging in fights in school uniform will be suspended from school as there is zero tolerance on violence.

A video of the brawl has been widely shared on social media.

Akbar says any student found engaging in any activity that breaches the Student Code of Conduct whether on or off the school compound will be met with strict punishment as per the Student Behaviour Management Policy.

The Education Minister is also asking people to take a more active role in preventing such display of violence in or out of school.
