The Shree Sanatan Dharm Purohit Brahman Maha Sabha Fiji stands in full support of Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji in strongly condemning the inhumane and disrespectful acts recently committed at the Wainibuku Cemetery in Nakasi and the Vunicuicui Shiv Mandir in Labasa.

The National President, Pandit Amar Nath Maharaj says such acts of vandalism and desecration are unacceptable and is a direct attack on the religious beliefs and cultural heritage.

Maharaj says these incidents have caused deep pain and distress to all Sanatan followers in Fiji and abroad, especially as they have occurred during the Ram Naumi celebrations.

He says it is important that respect for all religious sites and cemeteries be upheld, ensuring that such incidents do not occur again in the future.
