Team Fiji athlete Braelyn Yee has set her target of qualifying for this year’s Paris Olympics after the Oceania Championships which will be at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva next month.

Yee says every athlete’s dream is to make it to the Olympics and she is working hard to achieve the required time to qualify for the event this year.

The 22-year-old says it is always an honour to be representing Fiji on the international stage and she is looking forward to doing that again this year.

The former St. Joseph’s Secondary School sprinter also revealed that athletics was not the first sport that she represented Fiji in as she also represented the country in Karate.

Yee is urging young athletes to never give up on their dreams, keep moving forward and always trust in God’s plan.

The Oceania Athletics Championship will be held from the 4th until the 8th of June.
