The Blues have moved to the top of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific points table after securing a thrilling 31-27 win over the Hurricanes last night.

The two teams came into last night’s match with a 9-1 record each and 1 point apart from each other with the Canes sitting atop with 42 points and the Blues with 41 points.

After the win last night, the Blues now have overtaken the Hurricanes with 45 points while the Hurricanes have dropped to 2nd place with 43 points.

The Brumbies remain in 3rd place with 39 points after securing a 29-21 win over the Waratahs last night while the Chiefs sit in 4th place with 38 points.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua remains in 8th place despite their 48-10 loss to the Force in Perth last night.

The Drua has 17 points while the Force follows closely behind with 15 points and sits in 9th place.

They will now turn their focus to their next home game against the Reds at 2.05pm next Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

In other matches next weekend, the Hurricanes will host Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm Friday, the Rebels will play the Chiefs at 9.35pm Saturday, the Brumbies will take on the Crusaders at 4.35pm Saturday, the Blues will host the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday and the Force will take on the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday.
