Bitila Tawake named in Drua Women’s squad to take on the Force

Former captain Bitila Tawake will make a return to the 23-member matchday squad of the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women after being brought in to cover for the props for the crucial semi final against Western Force in Suva on Friday.

In the front row, Salanieta Nabuli retains her place at loose-head prop, Keleni Marawa is starting at hooker alongside powerhouse prop Anasimeci Korovata who returns to the starting 15 at tight-head.

Jade Coates and Asinate Serevi will start at locks.

The starting back row also remains the same, with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega at open-side, and captain Karalaini Naisewa retaining her place at number 8.

Setaita Railumu is back at halfback this week alongside Jeniffer Ravutia who returns at fly-half.

Adita Milinia will pair with Merewairita Neivosa on the wings.

Merewalesi Rokouono will replace the injured Merewai Cumu at second five, partnering with the exciting Vani Arei who is at outside centre.

Speed merchant Atelaite Buna, Tone Player of the Match twice consecutively, will start at fullback again.

The reserves include Litia Marama, Vika Matarugu, Mereoni Nakesa, Fulori Rotagavira, Evivi Senikarivi and Salanieta Kinita.

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women face the Western Force at 4:35pm Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
