The energy and enthusiasm of Bhangra dancers kept guests at the 70th India Republic Day celebration mesmerised yesterday.
Bhangra is a dance form originating from Punjab in India.
The Punjab Bhangra Culture group from Ludhiana in Punjab performed for the first time in Fiji yesterday.
The group was established and is led by Harvinder Singh Bajwa who is a well known Bhangra dancer in Punjab.
Singh says the group has performed in 25 countries.
Singh says they will be performing in Nauru for three days next week and then they will come back to perform again in Fiji.
