Fiji Airways National 7s coach, Gareth Baber says they will consider fielding a 7s team in local tournaments however that will depend on the format of the tournament.
This is after the Dubai, Cape Town, Hamilton and the Sydney 7s were cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Baber says it is important to utilize what they have in Fiji.
He further says he wants to see all teams competing hard over a period of time and see all the talent that is available in Fiji.
Fiji 7s players will be released to play in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
The Marist 7s will be held from the 24th to the 26th of this month at the ANZ Stadium.
