As flood waters continues to rise, Ba and Rakiraki Town have now been closed to all traffic.
Assistance Commissioner of Police Operations (ACPO) Livai Driu says the movements in the two towns will be strictly monitored and drivers are urged not to enter these towns because of the level of flood waters.
Meanwhile, ACP Driu confirms that 160 police officers are on standby to assist during this adverse weather in the Western Division.
The Western Division Command and Coordination Centre can be contacted on 9905457 should anyone require assistance moving to higher ground.
