The Ba Freebird Institute Under 18 rugby team is through to the Vodafone Super Deans semi finals after defeating Nasinu Secondary School 12-5 at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Ba Provincial showed a gutsy performance to edge a well prepared Nasinu side.

Ba Provincial Assistant Coach Peniona Ranitu says they had to dig deep to get the win today.

Looking at the other results from this morning, in the Under 15, Queen Victoria School defeated Ra High School 29-3, Ratu Kadavulevu School thrashed Suva Grammar School 34-0, Natabua High School beat Nasinu 33-10 while Lelean Memorial School edged Marist 9-8. In the Under 16, RKS defeated Ratu Navula College 15-3 while Grammar outclassed Lelean 20-3.

In the Under 17, Marist beat Lelean 12-10.

In the Under 18, QVS is currently leading Natabua 5-0 and the game is still in the first half.
