BRED Bank Fiji has reaffirmed its commitment to community wellbeing after donating $2,000 to the Fiji Cancer Society in support of the 2025 Movember campaign.

The contribution underscores the Bank’s dedication to raising awareness about cancer-related illnesses and the vital importance of early detection in saving lives.

In keeping with its motto Aligning Energies, BRED Bank Fiji continues to champion initiatives that create positive and lasting impact for the people of Fiji.

The cheque was formally presented to representatives of the Fiji Cancer Society at the Bank’s Head Office in Suva.

During the handover, Chief Operations and Human Resources Officer, Ranjeeta Naidu highlighted the importance of health awareness within the workplace and community, stating from a Human Resources perspective, Movember plays a crucial role in reminding their staff to prioritise their health.

Naidu says supporting the Fiji Cancer Society aligns with their goal of promoting employee wellness, awareness and early check-ups.

She says they are proud to contribute to a cause that encourages open conversations and healthier lifestyles across the communities they serve.

Offering a national viewpoint, General Manager Institutional Banking, Vasiti Vugakoto says as a corporate citizen, BRED Bank remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen community wellbeing.
