One of the most incredible underdogs stories in the Vodafone Super Deans Competition is the tale of the Marist Brothers High School Under 18 side as they toppled two zone champions and are preparing to meet another zone champion - this time it will be their rival Suva Grammar School in the Deans final this weekend.

Marist upset Ratu Kadavulevu School 16-13 in their Deans quarter final and beat Ba Provincial Freebird Institute 17-13 in their semi final.

Marist team manager, Peniana Kuboutawa says they know that Suva Grammar is their rival but they will take the same approach as they have been taking every week.

This is also the first time ever that Marist will be playing Suva Grammar in the Deans final.

Marist last met Suva Grammar in the Southern Zone Competition this year, and they lost 8-14.

The Deans and Raluve finals will be held on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
