People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says the allegations that their new students plan is about racism can be consigned to the rubbish bin.

While speaking at a People’s Alliance and NFP Open Invite - Higher Education Institutions and Universities at the FTA Hall, Rabuka says all students will be treated equally and there are no race-based scholarships.

Rabuka reiterated that they will get rid of TELS and Toppers Scholarships and bring a full scholarship system with bond conditions.

He adds all students will serve a bond equivalent to the number of years they have spent in attaining their qualification.

Rabuka further says they will stand alongside with the universities which include USP, FNU and the University of Fiji.

He says they will settle as quickly as they can the payments to USP.
