All Suva Deans final after Marist and Grammar win their U18 semi finals

It will be a battle of the Suva schools as Marist Brothers High School defeated Ba Provincial Freebird Institute 17-13 to book their place in a dream Vodafone Super Deans final against their rivals Suva Grammar School.

All points were scored in the first half of the second semi final.

Marist team manager Peniana Kuboutawa says they will continue to take one game at a time.

Marist will take on Grammar in the U18 Deans final next weekend at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Grammar U18 edge Natabua to reach the Deans final

The Suva Grammar School Under 18 side have booked their spot in the Vodafone Super Deans final after edging the gutsy Natabua High School side 30-26.

Grammar scored six unconverted tries while Natabua scored four tries.

Natabua was leading in the first half 19-10.

Grammar Manager Bulouvola Wainiqolo says they had to dig deep to get the win.

The second semifinal between Marist Brothers High School and Ba Provincial Freebird Institute is currently underway at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The Deans and Raluve finals will be held next weekend at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
