Crusaders coach Scott Robertson’s declaration that he will chase an overseas role if he doesn’t get the All Blacks job has not gone down well with test great Jeff Wilson.
Robertson said last week that he was “open” to offers from rival nations but Wilson has questioned the timing of that statement, with the All Blacks and coach Ian Foster under intense pressure as they prepare to face the Springboks for two tests in South Africa.
Wilson says that he finds it difficult to understand that Robertson made these declarations even though he is under contract with New Zealand Rugby.
The All Blacks will take on the Springboks at 3.05am Sunday while the Wallabies will take on Argentina at 7.10am.
