Alexander shows class to help Thunder beat Mavericks 117-95 in first conference semi final

Oklahoma City Thunder Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed his class last night scoring 29 points to help his side beat the Dallas Mavericks 117-95 in their game 1 match of the NBA Conference Semifinals.

Alexander played a total of 37 minutes, having 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Other points scorers for the Thunders include Chet Holmgren who scored 19 points, Jalen Williams scored 18 points, Aaron Wiggins scored 16 points, Jaylin Williams scored 11 points, Cason Wallace and Luguentz Dort each scored 7 points, Isaiah Joe scored 6 points and Ousmane Dieng scored 2 points.

Kyrie Irving scored 20 points for the Mavericks.

The teams were locked 23-all in the first quarter, before the Thunders took out the remaining 3 quarters 39-30, 27-26 and 28-16.

In other conference semi finals that were played, the Celtics beat the Cavaliers 120-95, the New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 121-117 and the Timberwolves defeated the Nuggets 106-80 in their second conference semi final match.

The Knicks will play the Pacers in their semi final game 2 at 12 today.
