The National Federation Party and its leaders hosted a Diwali lunch for fellow Ministers, invited guests and party members at their Headquaters in Tamavua.

Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya says Diwali is a time to reflect on the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

Tabuya says as people exchange sweets and share laughter, may the bonds of unity and harmony strengthen, fostering a sense of community that transcends boundaries.

She acknowledged the Acting Prime Minister Professor Biman Prasad for the invitation and noted the important lesson Diwali teaches us which is the importance of compassion and generosity, reminding us that our actions can be a beacon of hope for others.

In attendance were Acting Prime Minister Professor Biman Prasad, Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka, Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Lynda Tabuya, Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua, Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Agni Deo Singh, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Aviation Alitia Bainivalu, General Secretary for the People’s Alliance Party Pita Waqatairewa and other invited guests.
