A 31-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have passed away in an accident in Kasavu, Nausori yesterday morning.
Police say the two were travelling to Natovi and it is alleged that their car veered off the road and landed in the river.
They say the bodies were retrieved from the car after it was pulled from the river.
Investigators continue to liaise with close family and friends to determine if they were travelling with others.
