ACP Aporosa Lutunauga appointed as Acting Deputy Commissioner

Assistant Commissioner of Police Aporosa Lutunauga has been appointed as the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Police say the appointment was formalised by Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu on Friday.

They say the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police has been vacant since Commissioner Tudravu assumed office on February 3rd, 2025.

Acting DCP Lutunauga has served in the force for 30 years. He hails from Nawaca Village in Bua, with maternal links to Galoa Island, Lekutu, in Bua.
