7 Fijians in Barbarians lineup to face Wales this weekend

The Barbarians FC have named their squad for their match against Wales this weekend with 7 Fijians in the match day lineup.

Fiji Water Flying Fijians and Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players Tevita Ikanivere, Simione Kuruvoli, Selestino Ravutaumada, Ilaisa Droasese and Wallabies number 8 Rob Valetini have been named in the starting lineup while Peni Ravai and Api Ratuniyarawa will be on the bench.

Joe Moody and Taniela Tupou will join Ikanivere in the front row, Rob Leota and Alun Wyn Jones who will also captain the side will pair up at locks while Justin Tuperic, Michael Hooper and Valetini will make up the back row.

Kuruvoli will form the halves pair with Nicolas Sanchez with Izaia Perese and Len Ikitau pairing up in the centres.

Ravutaumada and Shaun Stevenson will be on the wings with Droasese at fullback.

The impact players will see Angus Bell, Asafo Aumua, Ravai, Ratuniyarawa and Tom Hooper covering the forwards while Lautaro Bazan Velez, Ben Donaldson and Andrew Kellaway cover the backs.

The Barbarians FC will take on Wales at 2am Sunday in Cardiff.
