Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has confirmed there is a total number of 693,915 voters as of 31st October 2022 who have registered for the 2022 General Elections.

Saneem has also confirmed there is a total of 348,349 registered male voters and 345,566 female voters.

He adds a total of 297,649 in the Central Division, 99,658 in the Northern Division, 26,359 in the Eastern Division, 260,801 in the Western Division and 9,448 from Overseas have been registered.

He says voters who do not have a blue voter card have a chance to get a replacement blue voter card by visiting the FEO registration centres from 10th November only to get their polling venue updated, however, no other details will be updated like names and addresses.

He adds new voters will not be registered.

Saneem also says for overseas voters who have been registered, are in Fiji and have not applied for postal voting, have a chance to vote at the designated polling venue at the Fijian Elections Office, at the Saint Stephens Building in Suva.

Saneem adds the number of polling stations will be announced once the number of voters is determined.

He further says the two oldest voters are aged 107.

Saneem says a total of 804,500 ballot papers will be printed for this year's elections.
