452 drivers booked for speeding while 11 arrested for drunk driving

452 drivers have been booked for speeding from 6am Saturday to 6am today.

202 drivers were booked in the Western Division, 133 were booked in the Southern Division, there were 68 bookings in the North while the Eastern Division recorded 49 bookings.

Police say apart from speeding, drunk driving also remains a concern with 11 arrests.

4 people were arrested in the Southern Division, 6 were arrested in the Western Division and one person was arrested in the Eastern Division.

Police say those who were arrested were between the ages of 24 and 59.
