Police say all of the seized substances have been sent for analysis.

Four people are in police custody in the Northern Division after being allegedly found in possession of illicit drugs believed to be marijuana.

Police say all of the seized substances have been sent for analysis.

A woman and a man were arrested in Benau, Labasa for allegedly breaching the social gathering restrictions and upon an early morning raid, the officers discovered dried leaves and seedlings believed to be marijuana and also smoking apparatus.

In a separate case, a joint operation conducted by Police and the Land Transport Authority resulted in the arrest of two men who were searched at a checkpoint at Bagasau, Cakaudrove.

Police say the two were travelling in a bus which was stopped at the checkpoint and officers noticed them acting suspiciously and conducted a search whereby large plastics containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana was allegedly found in their bag.
