388 students of Wainibuku HART Primary School will now have a better learning environment after the Bank South Pacific Financial Group Limited transformed a HART room into a school library, a storage room into a canteen and upgrading the school's kindergarten centre.

While officiating the event BSP Head of Branch Network, Kamini Mani says education is important as it empowers children with the knowledge and skills to improve their future livelihoods and lead fulfilling lives.

She says over several weeks, the BSP Suva Central Branch worked closely with the school faculty and Project Partner to Design and Creative Building Solutions in bringing the project to fruition by completing the repairs, installation of bookshelves, tables, and chairs, and a vibrant ambience conducive to reading.

Mani says the kindergarten building also underwent a thorough cleaning, painting, and the installation of play equipment to support early childhood education, crucial for the student's learning development.

She says these initiatives are aimed at providing the students with access to the same amenities available to their peers in other primary schools, further enhancing their overall school experience.

While acknowledging the BSP staff for their dedication in completing the project, she says the improved school environment will provide necessary stepping stones for the students success in life.

BSP Financial Group Limited has consistently demonstrated its commitment to Fiji through an extensive and long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility program including the $100, 000 donation for the upgrade of CWM Hospital in Suva and Community Projects Rukuruku District School in Nadroga , Navitilevu Primary School in Rakiraki, Savusavu’s Kasavu Primary School and Labasa’s Coqeloa Health Centre.
