31-year-old man and 32-year-old woman arrested after the discovery of over 50 gadgets in Valelevu

A 31-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have been arrested after the discovery of over 50 electronic gadgets believed to be stolen items.

Divisional Police Commander South SSP Wate Vocevoce says the Valelevu Crime Unit and Operations team conducted the raid in Valelevu earlier this week after information sharing.

SSP Vocevoce says a number of mobile phones, laptops, tablets and other electronic gadgets were discovered however they are yet to estimate the value of the items.

Police have also posted photos of seized items on social media and are requesting if anyone can assist investigators with information regarding the alleged stolen property to call 9299965 or 8950864.

The two will remain in police custody as investigations continue.
