As of 9am, a total of 243 people from 63 households are still sheltering in four evacuation centres in the Western Division.
The National Disaster Risk Management Office says there are 180 evacuees at Andrews Primary School, Nadi, 35 at Saioni Church, Nadi, 14 at Korovuto Secondary School, with 14 at Tavua District Primary School.
They say food ration distribution continues at the evacuation centres.
The NDRMO says the operational focus for National and Divisional Emergency Operation centres include the safe return of evacuees to their homes, disinfection of schools currently used as evacuation centres and the cleaning and disinfection of flooded areas.
They say the Divisional Emergency Operation Centres are working with their line Government Ministries and NGOs to provide necessary support to the affected people.
