2022 Coke Games will be the biggest ever – Vuli Waqa

Fiji Secondary School Athletics Association General Secretary, Vuli Waqa says that this years Coca Cola Games will be the biggest ever.

With three Maritime Zone schools yet to be included in the final list, about 3,000 athletes have already been confirmed to participate.

Waqa says this is an encouraging sign for students who have gone through a lot in the past two years.

Meanwhile, Waqa says that they can not control athletes switching from athletics to rugby.

Following the launch of the Raluve competition last month and the high number of girls switching codes, Waqa says this is a great way for them to go further in sports.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Meanwhile, the $45 three days Grandstand tickets are on sale at the Fiji Secondary Athletics Association head office at McGregor Road, Suva while the Embankment and grass tickets will be sold at the gate on the day.
