Two juveniles will be appearing in the Suva Magistrates Court today for allegedly throwing stones at two police officers at the Tamavua-i-Wai settlement.

The officers were attending to a report when the alleged incident occurred.

The two aged 16 and 17 years old were arrested on Thursday night. Police say they have been charged with one count each of criminal intimidation, failure to comply with the orders and resisting arrests.

They say a call was received that a few people from different houses were gathering in that area and while the officers attended to the report, both threw stones at them which damaged the police vehicle.
