Two women who snatched a taxi driver’s mobile phone have been reported to Lautoka Police Station.

The incident happened when taxi driver, Sailesh Kumar had his vehicle parked at Yasawa Street opposite the mosque in Lautoka at about 7pm to 7.30pm last Saturday.

Kumar says he was approached by the two women who insisted to him to take them to a certain location.

When he advised them that he was no longer driving and going home, the women argued with him, snatched his phone and ran off.

Police say their investigations have already started.
