Police confirm fourteen men and two women are in custody for their alleged involvement in a horrific home invasion case in Nakelo in Tailevu on Monday night.
A video of the incident is being widely circulated on social media.
It shows a group of more than 20 men allegedly entering the bottom flat of a two-storey house and assaulting some of the occupants.
Two of the men in the house can be heard screaming for help while a woman can heard screaming for her baby.
The video shows a broken down door, shattered glass on the floor and other parts of the house trashed.
Police are yet to confirm the circumstances surrounding the incident as investigations continue.
