120 household packs delivered to Natokawaqa Housing in Lautoka

209 household packs distributed by Govt yesterday

120 household packs from the 209 packs that were distributed yesterday by the government went to families that are in home isolation at the PRB Flats in Natokawaqa in Lautoka.

The Ministry of Economy Data Entry Team with the Fiji Police Force completed the data verification and started their first round of food ration distribution at this community yesterday afternoon.

About 138 families are in the cordoned-off area.

Meanwhile, 89 household packs were distributed in areas in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori including Bau, Caubati, Colo-i-Suva, Cunningham, Davuilevu, Khalsa, Kinoya, Koronivia, Lami, Makoi, Nabua, Nadera, Nakasi, Narere, Nausori, Navuso, Raiwaqa, Raiwai, Samabula, Sawani, Suva, Tacirua, Tailevu, Valelevu, Verata, Vatuwaqa, Vuci, Waila, Wainibokasi and Wainibuku.

The government says to date, around 2,779 packs have been delivered to families in home isolation in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas.

The government team also delivered household packs to 11 families who have been in isolation for more than 10 days.

This includes 1 pack each in Bau Road, Nakasi, Vuci Road, Koronivia Road, Raiwaqa, Vatuwaqa and Wainibokasi while 2 packs each were delivered to families in Nausori and Raiwai.

The government says until now, they have distributed around 11,806 groceries and essential items packs including 2,983 new household packs to families in targeted lockdown and home isolation.

To date, a total of 41,306 food ration, grocery, essential items and household packs have been distributed by the Fijian Government.
