Two tries from Tira Wilagi helped the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors defeat the Vodafone Fijian Under 20 side 24-10 at the ANZ Stadium yesterday afternoon.
Wilagi’s first try came in the 10th minute of the first half and the second was in the 27th minute.
Other tries for the Warriors came from Tikoibai Talatala and Jone Dukumoi.
Sikeli Rabitu scored the lone try for the Under 20 side.
FRU Development Elite Players Pathway manager Viliame Gadolo had earlier stated that the match was to set a foundation for players individual performances.
The two sides will meet again tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
