Labasa thrash Nadroga 5-2 in Extra Premier League

Labasa delivered a dominant performance on home soil, thrashing Nadroga 5-2 in their final Extra Super Premier League match of the season at Subrail Park.

Illisoni Logaivou opened the scoring for Labasa in the 14th minute, before Nadroga’s troubles deepened with two own goals – the first by Waisea Tale in the 19th minute, followed by another from Sakiusa Saqiri in the 36th.

The hosts were leading with 3-0 at halftime

Labasa continued their momentum in the second half, with Rusiate Doidoi adding a fourth goal in the 68th minute.

Although Nadroga managed to score two goals, Labasa sealed the victory with Jone Lalagavesi scoring the final goal of the match.

Meanwhile, the match between Tavua and Ba is currently underway where Ba is leading by 2-1.

In tomorrow’s matches, Rewa will face Nasinu at Ratu Cakobau Park, Navua will be up against Nadi at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, while Lautoka will host Suva at Churchill Park.

All the matches will be start at 1pm.
