Dawasamu Secondary School duo scoops 400 metres Senior Girls Gold and Silver

Dawasamu Secondary School duo Marica Bole and Salote Quminakelo scooped the gold and silver medals respectively in the Senior Girls 400 metres final at the Coca Cola Tailevu Zone.

Bole says they now turn their focus to the Coca-Cola Games, and try and improve their time.

Quminakelo says their preparation in the lead up to the Tailevu Zone was not easy and their hard work has finally paid off.

She says they came into this competition with a lot of confidence and they were awarded with their hard work.

Meanwhile, in the Sub-junior Girls 400 metres final, Naiyala Secondary School won gold, St. Vincent College won silver and Tailevu North College settled for Bronze.

In the Junior Girls, Tailevu North College got gold, St. Vincent College won silver while Dawasamu Secondary School settled for bronze.

Tailevu North College won gold in the Intermediate Girls division, St. Vincent College won silver with Wainibuka Secondary School getting bronze.
