Good news for people and businesses in the North as they will no longer find it hard to access to BRED Bank Fiji since the bank has opened their new branch in Labasa.

While officiating at the opening of the new branch, Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry, Charan Jeath Singh says that one of the Coalition Government’s aims was to create equal opportunity for every citizen, and such investment by the bank is a major boost to the Northern economy.

Singh says that it was the government’s responsibility to increase competitiveness in the marketplace to promote innovation, technological advancement and economic sustainability.

He adds such new premises are a great addition and inspiration to the fresh phase of developments happening in Labasa and indeed BRED Bank’s presence with its financial services adds commercial and economic value that will empower the people of the North.
