The Bank of Baroda Fiji today donated 10 wheelchairs to the CWM Hospital as part of its 117th Foundation Day celebration which began today and concludes tomorrow.

She says the Bank and its staff have partnered with the CWM Hospital in the past two years to provide much-needed assistance which included the big supply of sheets and pillowcases that was donated to the hospital last year.

While accepting the donation, the Medical Superintendent of CWM Hospital Dr Luke Nasedra expressed his appreciation on behalf of the Minister for Health as well as the Permanent Secretary of Health and Medical Services of this gesture.

Dr Nasedra says the donation is welcomed as it contributes to the CWM Hospital's plan to provide inclusive and quality health services to all.

Chair of the CWM Hospital Board of Visitors Dr Esther Williams thanked the CEO of Baroda Bank and her Team for this contribution and looks forward to a growing the partnership between Baroda Bank and the CWM Hospital.

Bank of Baroda Fiji kicked off their Foundation Day celebrations today with a walkathon in Albert Park followed by the planting of 117 mangrove saplings alongside the Queen Elizabeth Road in Suva before making their way to the CWM hospital for the donations.
