Queen Victoria School is leading the boys division while MGM High School is in first place in the girls category in the fijivillage Coca Cola medal tally.
QVS is leading with 5 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze, Marist Brothers High School is in second place with 4 gold and 2 silver medals and Ratu Kadavulevu School and Suva Grammar School are tied at third place with 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
MGM High leads the girls division with 7 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Memorial School is in second place with 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze and Jasper Williams High School is in third place with 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
Day 2 kicked off with the 800 metres heats this morning.
The 4x100 metres relay heats is schedule to start at 12.30pm, 400 metres finals at 3pm, and the 4x100 metres finals at 4.15pm today.
In the field events, we will have the Intermediate Boys Javelin, Intermediate Girls Discus, Sub Junior Boys High Jump, Intermediate Girls Long Jump, Sub Junior Boys Shot Put, Junior Boys Javelin, Junior Girls Discus, Senior Girls High Jump and Senior Boys Long Jump.
Looking at some of the results this morning, John Uluilakeba of MGM broke the sub-junior high jump record, Salanieta Vereivalu of RSMS won gold in the intermediate girls discus and Ebenezer Saukuru of Marist claimed gold in the intermediate boys javelin.
