Flood waters are rising in and around the Ba area including the town area.
The Ba Town Council says with rising waters and heavy rain affecting the town, for people to avoid flooded areas.
They are asking people to take all the necessary precautions and stay safe.
The Council has posted up photos of some places in Ba Town that flood waters are reaching.

Fijians should prepare for a very rainy Christmas as the Nadi Weather Office says the rainy conditions will continue until Saturday.
They say the weather is expected to ease in the weekend.
A Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the Western and interior of Viti Levu including Momi to Nadi, Lautoka, Ba through Tavua, Rakiraki, interior of Ra, Tailevu North, Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Groups while a Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.
A Flash Flood Warning is now in force for all low-lying flood prone areas of Western and interior of Viti Levu, including Momi to Nadi, Lautoka, Ba through Tavua, Rakiraki, interior Ra and Tailevu North while a Flash Flood Alert remains in force for all low-lying flood prone areas of Vanua Levu and is now in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Ba, Nasivi (Tavua) and Nakauvadra (Rakiraki) Rivers.
A Strong Wind Warning is now in force for the coastal land areas of the Western and Northern parts of Viti Levu including Sigatoka to Nadi, Lautoka, Ba through Tavua to Rakiraki, the interior of Ba, Ra, Nadroga/Navosa, Serua/Namosi, Naitasiri provinces and Tailevu North, Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Vatulele and Kadavu.
They say an active trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group, which is associated with clouds and rain.

Flooding from recent heavy rain has resulted in several roads in the Western and Northern Divisions being closed.
The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that roads in Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki have been severely impacted, making them impassable.
They say in Nadi, Chuni Lal Crossing, and Arolevu Crossing remain closed, while Lautoka's Abaca Crossing is also underwater.
They further say Ba has been significantly affected, with Toge Crossing, Babriban Crossing, Vunisamaloa Flat, Cemetery Crossing, Maururu Road, Crossing, Sorokoba Crossing, Varadoli Crossing and Benai Crossing closed due to flooding.
FRA says Tavua is facing challenges as Mataniwai Crossing, Balata Flat - Nadarivatu Road, Mataniwai Road, Nacovu Crossing, Viti Vanua Crossing and Wainiura Ford Crossing along Nadarivatu Road are inaccessible.
They say further north in Rakiraki, Narara Crossing and Katudrau Crossing, Namunamu Crossing, Dreketi Crossing, Vunikavikaloa Crossing, Savusavu Crossing have also been rendered impassable by rising floodwaters.
They add that in Northern Division, Alea Crossing, Naiviqiri Road and Navakasiga, Bua are also closed. They urge motorists and residents to avoid these routes and seek alternative pathways, where possible.
FRA says they are closely monitoring the situation and working to address the affected areas.
With the current wet weather over the country this Christmas, the Fiji Police Force is calling on everyone to be vigilant.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says water level has started to rise in some parts of the country and is warning parents to see that their children are not playing in flooded waters.
Driu says the Weather Office has issued the advisory for the next few days and they are already receiving reports of flooding in some areas.
He says they are calling on all parents to keep their children away from flooded waters.
ACPO Driu stressed that there have been a few incidents in the past where parents have been taken to task.
He says Police will be out there to monitor the situation on the ground and they will also be checking on flooded areas.
The Assistant Commissioner of Operations says its Christmas eve and they do not want any unfortunate incident to happen.
He is calling on everyone to work together and be on a lookout for each other as we head into Christmas day.

The National Disaster Risk Management Office is advising people and communities to take necessary precautions to ensure safety as heavy rain is expected to continue during this festive season.
They are urging people to stay away and refrain from crossing flooded rivers, streams, drains, roads and walkways while drivers are advised to remain vigilant and take extra precautions.
Mariners are also urged to check weather and marine forecasts before heading out to sea as a strong wind warning is in place and conditions may quickly deteriorate.
The NDRMO is also working with the Fiji Meteorological Service to monitor the current weather situation.
