Taylor Swift’s first post-engagement outfit may be a wedding-dress easter egg

Affectionately, I feel so high school every time I look at Taylor Swift.

For her very first public outing as an engaged woman, Swift attended a college football game with fiancé Travis Kelce dressed like literally any girl I went to high school with between the years [redacted] and [redacted]. For some context, I went to a former Catholic school turned nonsectarian institution in New England, where polo shirts and Patagonia fleece jackets were considered the height of fashion on casual Fridays.

That means Swift’s white Polo Ralph Lauren sweater-vest and pleated denim skirt, which she paired with knee-high Louis Vuitton suede boots, is an outfit any of the popular girls at my school would have worn to Friday football games…if we’d been big enough to have a football team. Kelce himself rocked a red-and-white striped rugby shirt that our entire lacrosse team owned in green. Go Highlanders.
