Bank of South Pacific (BSP) has announced two executive appointments and a senior manager appointment within its Retail Banking Division, showcasing Fiji’s leadership talent and the Bank’s commitment to staff development across PNG and the Pacific Markets.

BSP has appointed Ravindra Singh as its Head of Retail, Pacific Markets, an advancement that expands his leadership scope to group-level operations across the Pacific region.

With over 36 years of experience in Retail Banking leadership and Human Resources, Singh has been instrumental in driving BSP’s retail growth through his people-first approach and results-driven focus.

Singh is committed to strengthening performance, alignment and customer experience across BSP’s Pacific operations.

He says our Pacific markets hold tremendous potential, supported by strong teams and loyal customers. I look forward to expanding collaboration across the seven Pacific nations we serve to deliver a consistent customer experience, wherever they choose to bank with us.

BSP’s Group General Manager Pacific Markets, Paul Black, commended Singh’s long-standing contribution, saying he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, market insight and a people-first approach and continues to add value and strengthen their Pacific retail operations.

Singh holds a Master in Management from Australia’s University of Sunshine Coast (UniSC) and completed a rigorous 3-year Senior Group Leadership Management Development Program at INSEAD, France, a globally prestigious “Business School for the World.

BSP has appointed Kamini Mani as General Manager, Retail to succeed Ravindra Singh, and this appointment is a milestone for Women in Leadership at BSP, raising female representation in BSP Fiji’s Executive Leadership Team to 50 percent.

With 39 years of banking experience from Graduate Trainee to Lending Officer, Branch Manager, Area Manager, Head of Sales & Service, Head of Branch Network to Deputy GM Retail, Kamini brings extensive retail operational expertise, a strong customer focus and proven leadership capability.

Mani says she is honoured to lead BSP Fiji’s Retail Division during a period of modernisation and renewed customer engagement adding that BSP’s strength lies in their people and the trust they have earned from their customers over the years.

She says her focus will be service excellence in this time of digital innovation and empowering their teams to deliver the very best for their customers and communities.

BSP Country Head-Fiji, Haroon Ali, reaffirmed that Mani has been an integral part of BSP’s leadership team, noting that her appointment reflects her capability, dedication and long-standing contribution to the organisation.

Mani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from the University of the South Pacific.

BSP has appointed Viliame Varasikete as Head of Branch Network to succeed Kamini Mani, recognising his extensive experience and long-standing leadership within the Bank’s retail operations.

With over 40 years of service, Varasikete has held a range of leadership roles across Fiji, beginning as Branch Manager in Taveuni before going on to lead branches in Savusavu, Nadi, Suva Market, Suva Central and Pacific House. His experience across the country in both rural and urban centres has strengthened his operational insight and customer service focus.

Ali also congratulated Varasikete on his appointment, acknowledging his leadership experience across the Bank’s vast branch network, coupled with his deep understanding of customer needs, makes him well suited to this role.

BSP congratulates Ravindra Singh, Kamini Mani and Viliame Varasikete on their new appointments and looks forward to their continued leadership in delivering the Group’s retail strategy across Fiji and the Pacific Markets.
