Followers of Sri Satya Sai Baba in Fiji will be having chanting sessions till Wednesday to commemorate the death of one of India’s most revered spiritual leader.
Sai Baba died in hospital at the age of 84 yesterday morning.
The Deputy Chairman of Satya Sai Service in Fiji Sandeep Chauhan said they are waiting for a word from the Central Trust in India on what programs can be organised on Wednesday when Sai Baba’s funeral ceremony will take place.
In the meantime followers can go to Sai Centers around the country to pay their respect or offer flowers.
Sai Baba suffered respiratory problems and kidney failure in his hometown after a cardiac arrest.
India’s Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh described his death as a huge loss.
